The Cry is a captivating four-part psychological thriller which follows a young couple travelling from Britain to Australia to visit family. When their baby goes missing, they are thrust into the glare of media speculation.

When The Cry premiered on BBC One last year it notched up a staggering 10 million plus plays via BBCs i-player.
It has gone on to enjoy international critical acclaim airing on the Sundance channel in the US, with audiences and critics alike embracing this enthralling series.
Glendyn Ivin’s filmography includes:
Puberty Blues (2012-2014) for Channel 10,
The 7 part series Gallipoli (2015) for Channel 9 and
The Beautiful Lie (2015) for the ABC.
Sam Chiplin and Glendyn Ivin worked together on the SBS series Safe Harbour (2018) and are currently in pre production for a feature film.

The Gold Award winners from the 2018 State & Territory Awards for Cinematography will compete for Gold Tripods and Awards of Distinction in most categories except for the CineKids and Student categories where Gold Plaques are awarded.
The highly respected Milli Award for the Australian Cinematographer of the Year will be selected from the National Gold Tripod winners.
