Please be advised that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Victorian Branch of the ACS will be held Tuesday July 16th 2019

Time: 7pm sharp

Location: Backlot Studios, 65 Haig St, Southbank VIC

ACS ASKS YOU TO CONSIDER TAKING ON A ROLE IN THE COMMITTEE.

You can be a vital part of your ACS and support it into the future. At the AGM all committee positions will be made vacant and a new committee elected including executive positions such as President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

Available for download (see link below) is a Committee and Executive nomination form.  You are invited to either nominate yourself or another member for any of the positions and all positions will be available.

Please ensure if you are nominating another member that 1) They are a current financial member; and, 2)  You have discussed with them that they are willing to commit to the position.

THE AGM will take only 20 minutes. Immediately after there will be a screening of the award winning feature film Song Lang followed by a Q&A with the film’s cinematographer Bob Nguyen who won the Milli Awards this year for this film.

Song Lang won Gold in the coveted Features Cinema category and also the Judges' Choice at the 2018 Victoria Tasmania State awards in 2018 and went on to win Gold and the prestigious Milli Award at the recent National Awards held here in Melbourne earlier in the year.

Entries into the awards will open on August 1st and close on August 21st. Members must be currently financial in order to login to their profile online where the Entry Form is accessible. If you plan to enter and have not yet renewed your membership for 2019/20 you should do so now or you will not be eligible to enter.

The Awards Categories, Entry Information and Terms and Conditions have changed this year. Please carefully read through to be sure your entry complies to avoid disappointment.
