|
New to filmmaking and looking to gain some fundamental skills to up your game? ACS Vic is happy to share with you an independently run course happening in January! See below for details:
|
|
Filmmaking Fundamentals - How to take your low budget filmmaking to a professional level.
When: Saturday Jan 14 and Sunday Jan 15, 2023
Where: Dancehouse, Carlton North, Melbourne, Vic
Learn how to:
Expertly light a scene
Record sound
Incorporate camera movement to get high production values.
You will have the opportunity to use a variety of low-cost but efficient cameras including mirrorless, iPhone and other low-cost cinema cameras, as well as be introduced to inexpensive professional editing programs like Final Cut Pro X and the free version of DaVinci Resolve.
While there will be cameras available to shoot with at the course, participants are encouraged to bring, and use, their own cameras to experiment with the techniques demonstrated.
This is a very hands-on course and we encourage all participants to be involved in all aspects of filmmaking - camera, sound, lighting, directing, acting and editing.
By the end of the course participants should be able to go out and shoot their own stories and make much better films with higher production values.
Conducted by Con Filippidis DoP/Cinematographer
