Synopsis:
When Sam (Harriet Dyer) and Ian (Ian Meadows) decide to go camping, they arrive at their isolated destination to discover another tent already set up, but with no sign of its owners. With the other campers at large, the discovery of a toddler wandering alone in the bush sets off a terrifying chain of events that will push Ian and Sam to their limits and beyond. Writer and Director Damien Powers tense and unsettling debut feature film draws inspiration from Michael Hanekes FUNNY GAMES and Sam Peckinpahs STRAW DOGS. KILLING GROUND had its international premiere at Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, where it was selected as part of the Midnight Sidebar which has launched films including THE BABADOOK, THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, THE WITCH and SAW.

Arrivals: 6:15pm arrival for a 6:45pm screening.
Venue: Cinema Nova, Lygon Street, Carlton ACS has 10 x double passes to this screening thanks to the generosity of AACTA|AFI. First to reply get the passes. For the double pass, one person must be an ACS member and may bring one non-member guest. ACS Members should email ACS Events with the subject Killing Ground_YourName.
