ACS Members-Only event. Ben Nott ACS is currently in Melbourne shooting Winchester. We have this very rare opportunity to discuss his work, career and cinematographic approach on Thursday 27th of April at 8pm. You must book to secure your seat and places are limited to 25.
Ben Nott ACS is a Queensland member of the ACS Ben has shot TVC campaigns for clients such as Ford, Honda, Pantene, Becks, Kathmandu and Marks & Spencer. His feature film credits include Predestination, Daybreakers, Tomorrow When the War Began, Skin Trade, Saw: Legacy (unreleased), 24 Hours to Live (unreleased) and currently working on Winchester. Ben's work on "Predestination" received an AACTA for Best cinematography in 2015 and an ACS Award of Distinction, "Tomorrow When the War began" he won a Golden Tripod & Milli Award (ACS award for Cinematographer of the Year 2012) "The Company" won a Golden Tripod & Milli Award (ACS award for Cinematographer of the Year 2008) also the ASC award for Outstanding Achievement in a Theatrical Release. "Salems Lot" winning a Golden Tripod & Milli Award (ACS award for Cinematographer of the Year 2006) Ben has very kindly agreed to take a couple of hours out of his schedule to talk about his career, work approach and history at On the Apple Box - Conversations in Close Up. Attendees are invited to bring Digital Excerpts of Ben's work that they would like to discuss, on either USB stick or drive, or BluRay/DVD disk.

When: Thursday April 27th 2017 at 8:00pm Where: The Railway Hotel 280 Ferrars St, South Melbourne VIC 3205 Cost: Free to ACS Members. Every ticket booked must be for an ACS Member. Members may not book multiple tickets unless for another current financial member. Don't be disappointed. ACS will check all names for membership currency. Non-members will NOT gain entry.
