ACS Victoria is pleased to offer this great opportunity with its members.
The Professional Attachment Program, funded by Film Victoria and managed by Open Channel, is a response to the need to provide skills development opportunities for early career Victorian screen industry practitioners. The program provides a significant opportunity for Victorian practitioners to gain experience within some of Victorias established film and television production companies and address skills gaps in the local industry. A paid position is available as a Camera Department Attachment on an exciting new television drama series being produced in Melbourne. The successful applicant will be attached to the Production for nine weeks. The successful applicant must be available full time for nine weeks from the 29th August until the 28th October 2016. Applications Close 9.00am Wednesday 17 August 2016.
Position Description
The successful applicant for this position will be attached to the 1st Assistant Camera. This position would suit an individual keen to develop and advance their skills within the camera department. The successful applicant will require the following: Experience in at least one role within the camera department on short films, web series, documentaries etc e.g. D.O.P, Camera Operator, 1st AC, Clapper Loader
Knowledge of the various roles in a camera department
Knowledge of and some experience in working with cameras
