"Shooting the Perfect Interview" with Trent Butler ACS - Saturday May 21st at 11am

As part of St Kilda Film Festival, Award-winning cinematographer Trent Butler ACS from ACS Victoria will demonstrate the way to shoot an interview with expertise and style.

Victorian ACS Member Trent Butler ACS is an Accredited, multi-award winning cinematographer who has amazed us with his skill in creating intriguing, beautiful images in far off and remote places, often working alone with minimal equipment.
Join Trent as he shares his knowledge on one particular subject, and that is how to set up and shoot an interview that looks great and sets the mood for the story.

This is a practical demonstration using a professional camera and lighting. Trent will utilise the space to demonstrate how he goes about setting up a classic interview scenario. This wonderful opportunity is limited to the number of people we can fit into this relatively small room so come early and learn from an award winning DP.

The St Kilda Film Festival Filmmaker Development program includes many valuable opportunities and ACS Victoria this year is providing two of them: "Shooting The Perfect Interview with Trent Butler ACS" at 11am and then "On The Apple Box: Colourboration" at 2pm. Come to both, then see some films.

Where: St Kilda Town Hall
When: 11am - 12.30pm Saturday May 21st, 2016
Cost: FREE Entry to all

No RSVP required. First in, best dressed. Don't be late - it is not a huge room.
