This time of year we reflect on the year gone by and spend time with family and friends. It means different things to different people and in a year marked by some events that I'm sure we would all rather had never happened, let's celebrate all that is kind and good and wonderful around us. 2015 had some really great and positive things take place as well which brightened our world. As cinematographers, our photography is motivated by both the dark and bright sides of humanity and we try to depict that sense of imbalance through our images. Light is not light without a shadow. Sometimes we are more fascinated by the shadow than the light. To be topical, may the light be with you and we hope in 2016 you continue to produce beautiful, moving and meaningful motion pictures that speak loudly to our hearts and souls. Let's toast to a year of tolerance, understanding, respect, patience, equality, peace and happiness and the right to a free and safe life for all living things on our little planet.
