| | Panasonic invites ACS Members to a special event to get to know the Varicam35 and VaricamHS.
The Varicam session will be in Melbourne, Friday 6th March. There are two sessions which are different, and you are invited to attend both. "The new camera's superb image handling in multiple formats including 4k, UHD, 2k and HD make it an unparalleled tool for high-end filmmaking, commercials, episodic production and live 4k events" The afternoon session will be a 'Hands on mini-Workshop'. This session aims to provide a work through of camera features, camera set-up and workflow for the Varicam35 and VaricamHS. People who operate cameras, cinematographers, etc. and people that will be renting these cameras would want to attend this session. By the end we hope that participants will be familiar with the cameras features and the cameras menu system, be able to set up a camera and understand the workflow path. The evening session will be a 'Presentation'. The aim for the presentations is to present, explain and demonstrate the features of the Varicam35 and VaricamHS with specific emphasis on AVC-ULTRA efficiency, CDL file management, ISO5000 and on-set colour grading.
