The 2012 Victorian and Tasmanian ACS Awards For Cinematography
Again this year our awards were held at the ANZ Pavilion at the Arts Centre, Melbourne. It was a fantastic night with lots of old friends catching up and new acquaintances being formed. Stacks of awards handed out and the terrific door prizes shared around the room. State Presidents Alan Cole ACS and Peter Curtis ACS opened the evening with addresses wrapping up the year and presenting the first awards. Our National Vice-President Ernie Clark ACS took to the podium later in the evening to announce our newly Accredited members, Greig Fraser ACS and Trent Butler ACS and to present some further awards. Highlights were a heart-felt address by the legendary Don McAlpine ACS ASC (pictured) and our MC Lawrence Mooney who had the room in laughter all night.
