Reminder: Our AGM is next Tuesday and meet the Blackmagic Camera

The AGM will be held on Tuesday August 7th 2012

You are invited to attend the Victorian Branch Annual General Meeting for 2012.

This is the opportunity for all financial members of the Australian Cinematographers Society Victoria/Tasmania to take a position in the Committee which is responsible for managing all aspects of the organisation. All positions will be made vacant at the commencement of the the AGM and members wishing to stand for the committee will need to be nominated and seconded by other ACS members. You can be involved in the "engine room" of the ACS and make an impact in its function, appearance, activity, growth, direction and evolution.

General Committee roles and Executive Positions will all be available to be filled and members will be voted in. These include General Committee as well as Secretary, Treasurer, Editor, Vice President and President.

We hope you will put your hand up and join the Committee. The more people involved, the better.

Apart from the election of the committee, general business relating to the ACS branch will be presented. Usually the official part of the AGM takes less than half an hour and then a presentation follows with refreshments to enjoy.

Location: Lemac Theatrette, 2 Griffiths St, Richmond Victoria
Time: 6.30pm for a 7pm Sharp start. Drinks and snacks provided.

Blackmagic Cinema Camera demonstration

This year there will be a presentation of the Black Magic Cinema Camera with Soren Phillips from Black Magic Design explaining.
