Inspiration Studios - I Can't Believe It's Not Film!

Inspiration Studios invite the ACS to explore Red Epic, Red MX, Arri Alexa Plus, C Motion, Sony F35 and F3

In the words of Cail Young and Pete Wells:

"An event recognising the vast steps digital acquisition has made in the last 2 years.
No sales pitches here. Just honest discussion about the benefits and shortcomings of each system from both our experienced staff and working professionals.
Anybody is welcome to bring their own storage media and take footage from any camera."

The event will take place on Saturday 16th July 2011 from 12pm - 5pm, at
The Local
184 Carlisle St., St Kilda

You need to RSVP to this event at the EventBrite website. You will then receive an email confirming your place.

The Victorian ACS encourages members to attend this free event. Free? Beer? Cameras? What more could you want?

All Camera Dept crew stand to benefit from what is on offer at this event. It is a great opportunity to learn more about digital acquisition from top end cameras as well as data management and the post production workflow. The more knowledgable you are, the more valuable you are on set and the more competitive you are seeking work.

Inspiration Studios has told us that numbers are limited and that they will also be inviting people from the broader film industry along as well - producers, directors, editors. So it should make for a very informative and creative afternoon.
