Tasmanian ACS member and filmmaker David Pyefinch has been quietly producing a series of video recipes for a well known food retailer in Hobart. David will share some techniques and methods he uses to make these clips, and how he's ended up shooting, editing and producing this media as a solo operator.
David will discuss how he independently pitched to make a series of unique clips that are now used in a variety of online channels and in-store screens.

This project is the result of a 20 year passion to make recipes come alive in a cinematic way. We will also see a few glimpses from Davids archives, featuring very early iterations of the original idea, and some other examples of food related work that he creates in Tasmania.
