Over a decade ago Christopher Jolly set aside a successful career in high-end hospitality to study TV and Media at Rosny College, under ACS Tas members Graham Gates and Simone Cunliffe. He was a stand-out student and quickly secured work in a Hobart Advertising Agency after graduating. Then Chris moved to the beautiful North West Coast and began a freelance career. He has worked a lot as a high-end wedding videographer but in recent years has really branched out into covering arts and community events, food and tourism video production, and music clips.
As someone who has worked adjacent to industry norms for his whole career Chris will share his methods of working solo to film live events with multiple cameras and audio.
Chris wants this to be a sharing of skills and experience (rather than a formal lecture) and will bring his equipment along to demonstrate his workflows and for members to check things out for themselves.
Chris will also bring along his trio of Blazar GreatJoy Anamorphic lenses - a set of EF/PL mount 1.8x anamorphic lenses available for under $3k each.
