For more information visit www.achtel.com

Join the ACS Tasmania branch as we explore the world of underwater cinematography with Pawell Achtel, the inventor of the Deep X and 3Deep underwater housing for the RED EPIC camera. The Deep X and 3Deep are the first underwater housings that allow capture of 5k high resolution underwater images without distortion and fuzziness in either 2D or 3D configurations.

Subjects covered will include:

. underwater optics and how different it is from filming on land.
. a short workshop on stereoscopic 3D.
. Demonstrate '3Deep', the world's first non distorting and sharp corner-to-corner 3D underwater housing
. We will disassemble, set-up and test the whole 3D rig with 2 Epics and a Marshall 3D monitor

The workshop will be held at 913 Coles Bay Rd, Coles Bay, on Saturday the 17th of November, starting at 11am and wrapping up around 3pm. Light refreshments will be available. If their are sufficient numbers we we might organise a mini-bus or at least a car pooling arrangement from both Launceston and Hobart on the day.
