Our 35th Annual Awards for Cinematography are on Halloween night, this Saturday October 31 at 6pm. Tickets to be collected at the venue the Hotel Grand Chancellor on Hindley St. Starting with nibbles at 6pm then onto a theatre style presentation of the awards, followed by a sit down dinner & dessert buffet. There's lots of great door prizes too! Get your spooky / sexy / disgusting / creative / skanky / unbelievable halloween super suit together (otherwise dress smart!) and join us for a night of fun, awards, food, door prizes and more. We have a photo booth to get great pics of you in your fantastic creations. On Saturday afternoon @ 1230 before the awards, there is a Wastelander Panda Screening & Q&A held which will be co-hosted with Australian Society of Editors (ASE). Although this is a free event for ACS members it is essential to book tickets, bar opens 1230 for 1pm start, 1 hour screening followed by Q&A, finish by 3pm. ACS members receive 1 free drink from the bar.

ACS CineKids
You might know someone who may want to be an ACS CineKid, if so encourage them to join our newest membership category. - ACS CineKids - has been created to encourage and foster interested kids up to the age of 15 years to participate and take an active hands-on approach to Cinematography. An ACS CineKids Member is a young person, 15 years or under, who has a passion for cameras and filmmaking. ACS CineKids will receive a Welcome Pack with a membership certificate, membership card, note pad and pen, access to our E news both National & State, and various screenings and workshops, along with mentoring from our ACS cinematographers.
