Streaming 101 Info Session 16-4-2020

Streaming

To assist our ACS members Dave Gregan & Daniel Charlton will run this Streaming 101 Info Session from the Picture Hire office. It will be sent out via an private youtube link, this will allow us to have a Q&A section in it too via a text chat during the stream.

The session will run for approximately one hour on Thursday 16^th April @ 6.30pm.

Session to include at this stage, in no particular order:

Why Stream?
What questions to be asking your clients to get the ball rolling and possibly generate work for you
Once they do agree, what questions to ask them about a stream and what to watch out for
Basic equipment available
Solutions available to Rent & Buy locally
How to run a live stream from start to finish. (We’ll demonstrate this live using youtube)
- This will include a 2 camera switch and a graphics machine using OBS as the streaming platform.
Q&A Session via text chat

It won't be super technical and we may gloss over some things in the interest of time but enough to get you started.

A URL link to the stream will be emailed out to RSVP’d Members along with it posted on our ACS SA Facebook page prior to the event.

A while ago we started a Facebook Group where all current financial ACS members can join. Members can post their work, connect across states, link to events, ask for advice, and put up equipment for sale etc. here. To join, simply follow the link below and request to join, and one of your local committee members will approve your request. Of course, if you're not a member please don't apply as rejection is not really in our DNA.
