Although TENET has unfortunately been pushed back again, we are keen to support the return of Australian cinema to Australian cinemas with a screening of the award-winning Babyteeth, shot by Andrew Commis ACS, as the special event for our AGM.
We very excited to see you there, and keen to see what you bring to our branch.

We take this opportunity to thank our continuing members who chose to pay for their 2020-2021 memberships, even though they didn't have to. This gesture is hugely appreciated, and deserves a massive thanks.

Entries Now Open for the 2020 ACS QLD & NT State Awards!
|
|
|
Extra proud of that job you did before 'Rona hit our shores? The festivities may be online this year, but the QLD and NT State Awards are still happening this November 21st. We are still working on the specifics, as this will not be the familiar dress-up event.
To assist with the hardships our members have faced in the last six months, we've also reduced entry costs by 30% across all categories, but are asking that all winners to contribute 30% to the cost of their plaques should they want them. Additionally, we have added more categories to adjust to the modern circumstances in which our industry is shifting towards, including 2nd Unit Cinematography and updated consideration for joint cinematography.
Entries are open from the 1st to the 21st of August, so don't delay to follow up about that reel copy of your work! Please also be aware that submission is online only and no physical copies (USB, Blu-Ray, etc.) shall be accepted.

Accreditation Applications Opening September 1st
|

Think it's time to see those three little letters at the end of your name? If you're considering applying for accreditation, now is the time to start getting your submission together.
The entry window for Accreditation submissions is September 1st through till September 30th, but contact your Queensland President, Erika Addis, well before then. Remember, you need to put your submission in to your local president before submitting.
