Our friends at AACTA are pleased to offer QLD ACS members double passes to a Masterclass in Film Composition with David Hirschfelder. David Hirschfelder is one of Australias foremost film composers. In his 30-year career he has written the score or soundtrack to more than 80 film and television productions, and has received numerous local and international accolades. Davids film credits include some of the most iconic Australian and international productions ever realised, including STRICTLY BALLROOM (1992), SHINE (1996), ELIZABETH(1998), THE WATER DIVINER (2014), and THE DRESSMAKER (2015) to name a few. This event will appeal to anyone with an interest in filmmaking as it gives fundamental insights into the creative process of one of Australias greatest talents, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at key elements that influence how a film conveys emotion, themes and ideas.
