Proud ACS sponsor PROCAM are hosting an informational and hands-on event, showing off a fleet of cameras that Ian Bates and the team have on offer - including the SONY F65 & F55, ARRI ALEXA, BMC, RED Scarlet and a load of fabulous new lenses. There will also be a Steadicam demonstration and workshop with experienced operator Luke Nixon. First up Ian Bates will talk briefly about his recent experience in Antarctica shooting 4K, showing footage on a wonderfully big shiny screen with pristine images of the expedition. Ian will discuss how he managed the huge amounts of data and shooting in such a cold environment. Paul Seipel will take us through the Sony F65 and its functions, buttons and other magical abilities to give us a mini workshop on how to use the damn thing. Luke Nixon will take us through the steps on how to set up and use a Steadicam effectively, with information on its benefits amongst the growing options of stabilisation devices. This event will be a great opportunity for all new and experienced cinematographers to look through the vast array of lenses and cameras PROCAM has on offer.
