The countdown is on for getting your entries into the 2013 QLD & NT Awards for Cinematography. With only 7 days left before we will be closing the awards entries, it is seriously time to get your entries in NOW! UPDATE: MICK'S GRIPPING OPENING
ACS members and friends are invited to the grand opening of the new Mick's Gripping Centre where you will get close and personal with the newest in cinema and broadcast technology. We have just been updated with some exciting details of what will be on display:
- Fresh into the country the new MOVI Rig with c300 for demo

Gyro-mounted remote control helicopters for DSLRs and other mini digital cameras

2 New Alexa XTs and an Alexa 4:3
The ACS will be hosting a BBQ and drinks from 6PM. There will also be a businesscard raffle so come along for your chance to win one of many cool camera accessories including a GoPro Hero! The shop will be open to the public all day, and members are welcome to drop by any time to see the many equipment displays. This will lead into a great social evening with barbecues, beer and the lucky raffle. If you are looking for innovative and affordable solutions for your next project; then this is an event you will not want to miss!
