An Evening with Kees van Oostrum ASC
The American Society of Cinematographers, President, Kees van Oostrum ASC is currently in Australia as a guest of ARRI Australia. The ACS and ARRI Australia will be hosting an "Evening with Kees van Oostrum" at ACS Headquarters on Monday the 22nd of July. Refreshments and food will be available and members and ACS sponsors are invited so please join us on Monday night and give a warm ACS welcome to the visiting ASC President.

In the Wild with RED DSMC2. Presented by Dom West of Untitled Films & RED.
A Behind the Scenes Look into the Award-Winning Team From Untitled Films works and "Big Cat Tales".
ACS member Dom West will talk on his career as a documentary and wildlife cinematographer. He will focus on his most recent work as Co-Director and DoP on "Big Cat Tales", Animal Planet's latest natural history series that documents the lives of the lions, leopards and cheetahs of the Masia Mara in Kenya. Discussion will include the challenges faced when working as a small crew in some of the world's most remote and hostile environments and how RED camera systems are utilised to bring these powerful stories to light. "Big Cat Tales" 1 and 2 were shot on RED DRAGON, HELIUM and GEMINI Sensors.
