Moving Pictures - Filmmakers and the Art of Cinematography
ARRI Australia is very proud to present the first local screening of the feature-length documentary:
Moving Pictures - Filmmakers and the Art of Cinematography. Created using footage collected during the international documentary project for ARRI's centenary celebrations, this film will give you a rare insight into the creative minds of a diverse group of filmmakers . Unlike the ARRI 100 Years project, Moving Pictures doesn't mention any of our products or the brand of ARRI itself. This film is not a sales pitch, but rather an appreciation of those who strive to create the images that inspire our imagination.
Moving Pictures: Filmmakers and the Art of Cinematography takes viewers on a rare journey of personal, inspiring stories exploring the art of the moving image from celebrated cinematographers like Roger Deakins, Vittorio Storaro, Rachel Morrison, Christopher Doyle, Rodrigo Prieto, Matthew Libatique, Mahmoud Kalari and more. Compiled of intimate, insightful conversations from some of the greatest filmmakers of our time, this rare documentary explores the artists behind the world’s cinematic treasures.
This event is free but ticketed. For further information or to RSVP use the link below.6:30pm Wednesday the 17th of April AFTRS Theatre 130 Bent St, Moore Park, NSW.
