Casimir Dickson ACS will be shooting a feature film called “Girl in the shadows” in Tamworth July 10th till August 5th. Join him in a film making experience that will allow you a birds-eye view of how professionals work, as well and providing hands on experience for you to advance your own skills.

The day will be invaluable to get on-set experience in a Netflix Production.

The equipment includes a Red Raptor, Sigma classic lenses, Small HD monitors, Teradek wireless, Tilta Neuclues wirleless focus and Steadicam. On the lighting side of things we will be using Creamsource and Arri lighting.

Lemac Lens Showcase

The world of cinema optics has experienced an explosion in recent years; never have there been so many options available to cinematographers as now.

In recent times Lemac has acquired a huge number of new lenses, with the desire to offer cinematographers the ability to choose the right ‘LENS FOR EVERY STORY’.

Come along to what will be a great night to get hands on with a huge variety of rare and exotic glass as well as to catch up with friends and local crew.

Whether your format of choice is Super35, Full Frame or Anamorphic, we will have lenses of all varieties available with technical staff available to answer any of your questions.

Previously known as the Annual General Meeting, this meeting is attended by the current NSW Committee and open to all NSW members.
At this meeting all office bearing positions are declared open and voting takes place to determine composition of the NSW Committee for the following 12 months.
Please note that only current Corporate members of the ACS NSW Branch are able to vote. Corporate membership categories consist of: Accredited (including Retired), Full (including Retired), Life and Active.

Those wishing to nominate for positions on the Committee must complete a Nomination Form and return it to NSW Secretary Aleksei Vanamois by midnight on 30th July 2023 AEST.
Positions include President, 2x Vice Presidents, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, and Committee member.
