Our guest for the October Drop In will be Martin McGrath ACS. One of Australia's foremost cinematographers, Martin's body of work includes Muriel's Wedding, Children of the Revolution, The Sound of One Hand Clapping, Danny Deckchair, Packed to the Rafters, Jack Irish, Rake and many many more.
Martin will screen and discuss two of his recent projects, Dance Academy: The Movie which follows the original Dance Academy TV show and Riot, a film based on the history of the first Sydney Mardi Gras.
As usual there will be a Q&A so don't miss this great opportunity to hear from Martin McGrath ACS, one of Australia's finest cinematographers.
Thursday 18th October at ACS HQ (address below). Doors open at 6pm with Martin's presentation starting at around 6:45pm.
2018 NSW and ACT Awards for Cinematography - Bookings Open
Bookings for the 2018 NSW and ACT Awards for Cinematography are open so reserve your seat now at this great ACS night.
With nearly 300 entries spread over 19 categories there will be a lot to see. The quality of the work gets better each year and the competition is tough but as always there are Awards to be won so make a date for November 3rd, enjoy and evening with your peers and see what they've been shooting.
Our special guest for the evening is Ray Argyll ACS and our ever popular MC will be journalist and entertainment personality Ray Martin AM.
