How has AI changed your work?

The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) has significant implications for the nature of work in the media, entertainment and arts sectors.

Over the past few years, the federal government has begun efforts to regulate the use of AI. It is essential that workers in our sectors have a voice in this process.

To this end, MEAA has launched a survey to better understand members' attitudes towards and experiences of AI in the workplace.

Stories and answers will the de-identified to protect anonymity.

The survey will close at 11.59pm AEDT, Tuesday March 26.

VALE Grant Page
August 6, 1939 – 14 March 2024
The ACS are deeply saddened by the passing of Grant Page, veteran stuntman, deeply generous collaborator and a larger than life character who made a substantial impact on our industry.
Grant had more than 100 stunt credits to his name spanning five decades and ranging from Mad Dog Morgan, The Odd Angry Shot, and The Picture Show Man through to contemporary titles, such as Terminus, Gods of Egypt, and the upcoming Mad Max prequel Furiosa.
He was also critical to formulating the industry’s first Film Safety Code and initiating several innovative stunt techniques now adopted internationally.
Grant was much loved, helped to train a generation of professional stunt performers, and gave just as much when supporting student film-makers as he did when working at the highest level.
Few genuinely deserve to be considered Legends, but Grant indisputably earned that title and he will be dearly missed.
Grant is survived by his four sons Adrian, Jeremy, Leroy, and Gulliver, as well as ex-wife Joy and former partner Ulli.
