Ross Wood Snr ACS (1916-1980) Ross Wood was among the early founders of the ACS and was very active in those early years promoting the ACS cause since 1958 which went towards the developments making the ACS the intentionally recognised Society we see today. His legacy has lived on since he died in 1980 when his wife Mary, formed a trust fund in the form of an annual amount to support the early careers of young cinematographers.
