Thank you to all our members and friends who tuned in and congratulations to all our winners, the standard of the work this year was really impressive. A huge thanks again to all our judges and the NSW Committee who worked so hard behind the scenes to make the night a success.

It was great that some of you could join us live in the studio.
Kieran Fowler ACS NZCS certainly had a successful night picking up a few awards including the Ross Wood Snr ACS Judges Award for Best Entry. He will be joining me this Thursday, November 19that 7pm for our November Drop In Webinar so please join us, registration details below.
The ACS has been working on a national research study of Australian cinematographers in collaboration with researchers from Deakin University. This study is the first of its kind in the world and will look at a broad range of aspects that relates to the careers and career paths of Australian cinematographers. One aspect of the study will involve a members survey so when it hits your inbox in the near future I hope you will all participate as everyone’s contribution is really important.
I would also like to invite any members to join an open meeting of the National Diversity, Inclusion and Reconciliation Committee. Chaired by Justine Kerrigan, once a year we open the meeting to any member who would like to participate. Please contact me at cconstantine@cinematographer.net.au if you can join us on Dec 5thand I can send you the details.
That’s it from me this month, stay safe and vigilant so our industry stays working in what still feels like fragile times.
All the best,
Carolyn
