March Drop In
Our March Drop In will feature a presentation by
Mathew Alexander from Panasonic Australia of the latest addition to the Varicam Cinema Camera family the VaricamLT.
This new camera shares the Varicam DNA of the Varicam35 but in a smaller, lighter package designed more for single operator use. It also shares the same S35 native 4K sensor, the same Varicam colour science and comes standard with EF mount and PL mount option.

As well as the VaricamLT presentation, Panasonic and the ACS are pleased to announce that Aussie DP legend
Don McAlpine ACS ASC will be coming along to talk about his reasons for choosing and his experience of shooting with Varicam35s on his latest feature film Ali's Wedding.

Varicam35 & VaricamLT at AFTRS
Additional to the ACS Drop In, Panasonic will be holding an event on
Wednesday, March 16th at AFTRS. This extended presentation will be held in the 120 seat theatre and feature footage shot on both the VaricamLT and Varicam35 projected with the 4K DCI compliant projector. This will be a great opportunity to view footage from these cameras on a big 4K DCI screen.
