2014 NSW/ACT Awards Entries Open
Entries for the 2014 NSW/ACT Awards for Cinematography will be accepted from tomorrow.
Your work can be entered from August 1st until 5pm Friday August 29th. A link to the online Entry Form is below as is a link to the Terms and Conditions of entry. The Terms and Conditions are important and need to be read and understood so that entries are presented to the judging panel in the correct format. Entries should be mailed or hand delivered to ACS HQ (address below) although in special circumstances they may be uploaded by FTP - see the T&Cs for details.
Its an exciting time as entries come flooding in and we look forward to receiving your best work but please dont leave entering until the last minute as the August 29th deadline will be enforced.
Members must be currently financial to be eligible to enter the NSW/ACT Awards.
Sony F-55/5 Evening at ACS HQ
A few days ago we posted an item on the ACS Facebook page about a Sony event to be held at ACS HQ on August 7th. Interest in the event, Sonys Getting the most from the Sony PMW-F55/5 camera, has been overwhelming and the evening is now over-subscribed! As a result, Sony will be running it again the following week, on Thursday August 14th. Clive Cannon of Sony will take guests through the operational functions of the F55 and F5 cameras. Come along to ACS HQ (address below) from 6pm and learn how to get the most out of these very popular cameras. Spaces once again will be limited so an an RSVP by August 8th is essential.

Membership Renewals
Members who are yet to pay their 2014-15 subscriptions will be made Inactive at the end of August, thereby ceasing to receive AC Magazine & all E News. Please join the majority of members who have paid their subs & received their 2014-15 new style member cards.
