July Drop In

The Drop In this month will feature well known Sydney based cinematographer Andy Taylor ACS. You may not have been aware of it but you will have seen countless examples of Andy's work on programmes such as Four Corners and 60 Minutes. Andy sure is a globe trotting cinematographer but the ACS believe they have nailed him down to screen and discuss his work from 6pm at ACS National Headquarters 19th July - subject of course to him not having to travel at short notice to some far flung exotic location, Andy's bag is always packed and ready.

Also, Michael Marsellos of NSW sponsor Dragon Image will be presenting their mini helicopter rig.

Come along and enjoy the company of your colleagues at the regular 3rd Thursday Drop In.

ACS NSW Branch AGM

The ACS NSW Branch AGM will be held in conjunction with our regular 3rd Thursday of the month Drop In on Thursday 16th August from 6.00pm.

All members are encouraged to attend.

ACS NSW 2012/13 Committee Nominations

Nominations are now open for the 2012/13 ACS NSW Branch Committee. Members are invited to nominate themselves, or another member.
NOTE: Inclusion in the committee's activities is a great privilege and service to the membership which requires that you are willing (subject to work commitments) to be available to take part in sub-committees; be available for various official duties & attendance (including menial tasks); and to be at committee meetings and branch functions (both at the HQ and at other venues). If you feel that you may be unable to attend a minimum of seven of our eleven meetings over the coming year, it is strongly suggested that you reconsider for a committee position in another year.

Nominations close, 9th August, 1 week prior to the
ACS NSW Annual General Meeting, to be held
at the ACS National HQ, level 2, 26 Ridge Street, North Sydney
@ 6.00pm Thursday 16th August, 2012.
