August Drop In Evening

Our next Drop In will be on August 18th from 6pm at:
ACS National HQ
Level 2, 26 Ridge St
North Sydney 2060.

Kodak Australia Presentation

Join us at ACS HQ for a special presentation from Kodak Australia.

Kodak Presents Your Format Options Choices

Lawrence Horsburgh and Leigh Christensen will be presenting an introduction to Cinematographers Format "Choices". Advancement in film technologies are empowering film makers across the world. With choices that make it easier to tell their stories, their way. This promises to be an interesting presentation.

Tony Gardiner "The Maestro" screening, Q&A

Winner of Best Cinematography at this years Tropfest, Tony Gardiner will screen and discuss his work on the film for which he won the award "The Maestro".

Shot over a period of ten weeks the film combines real time and time lapse and was shot with a Canon 5D mkII. There will be a Q&A after the screening so if you haven't yet seen the film this will be a great opportunity to do so and afterwards talk to the cinematographer who photographed it.

Photron BC-2 HD/2K

Unfortunately due to the high demand for their camera Ron Aggett and Eran Dolev of Slow Motion Films will have to hold over the demonstration of the Photron BC-2 HD/2K high speed camera.

Make a note in your diary or phone for Thursday 18th August - should be another interesting evening at ACS HQ.
