When Carolyn Constantine ACS decided to make her long form documentary MADHATTAN about an outback milliner that lands a solo show at New York fashion week she didn't plan to be wearing so many "hats" on the production.
Carolyn will be our guest at the July Drop In.
With the benefit of of hindsight, and having delivered an award winning long form documentary, Carolyn will discuss the benefits and pitfalls of the cinematographer also taking on the roles of both Director and Producer on her film MADHATTAN.
Carolyn is well versed in the role of cinematographer and has numerous TV drama operating and DOP credits (Wildside, Young Lions, Headstart, All Saints, Rake, Please like Me, Headland, Janet King and Pulse) and has lensed a number of high profile documentaries including Wide Open Sky which won the audience award for documentary at SFF 2015. The immensley successful MADHATTAN is Carolyn's first long form film as Director, Producer and Cinematographer.
Carolyn will screen MADHATTAN and as usual there will be a Q&A.
So join Carolyn in the cordial atmosphere of the ACS HQ (address below) on
Thursday July 19th. Doors will be open from 6pm and Carolyn's presentation will kick off at 6:45pm.
