February Drop In

Peter James ACS ASC

ACS NSW is pleased to announce that Peter James ACS ASC will be our guest at the February Drop In.

Peter is the cinematographer behind critically acclaimed and popular films such as Driving Miss Daisy, Black Robe, Meet the Parents, Mao's Last Dancer and more recently Ladies in Black.

It is this last film, Ladies in Black, that Peter will present on Thursday night. Ladies in Black is the most recent of many films in which he has collaborated with director Bruce Beresford. Peter will encourage a "scene by scene", "frame by frame" discussion of the film - "who suggested what and how was it achieved".

He will also present his views on the importance of the script breakdown, pre-production and collaboration with all departments both creative and administrative.

Join fellow members, sponsors and guests on February 21st at ACS HQ (address below) and take the opportunity to learn from one of Australia’s most experienced and finest cinematographers.

As usual doors will be open from 6pm with Peter's presentation kicking off at about 6:45pm.
