MEAA: Offshore rates and template agreement meeting October 7
When you’re negotiating your rate for the next international film you work on, understanding the new rates system could make a big difference. MEAA meetings on October 7 are a chance to find out about the changes to rates in the template agreement and ask questions. The meetings will also decide if the new offshore template agreement should be extended to feature film producers outside the six major studios (e.g. to companies like Legendary, or Lionsgate). Non-members may attend but will not be able to vote.
RSVP to attend: Link below When: 10am , Sunday October 7 (9am Queensland time) Where: Sydney MEAA office (245 Chalmers St, Redfern) Melbourne MEAA office (3/365 Queen St, Melbourne CBD) Gold Coast, venue TBC Who: MEAA members will be able to vote; non-members are welcome to attend. Members from SA and WA please contact your local organiser to let us know you want to participate. For more information about the offshore template agreement go to:

REQUEST to ACS Members from the The IMAGO Technical Committee
Dear Colleagues,
The IMAGO Technical Committee is laying down a great amount of work with the aim to influence camera manufacturers to make the design of menus and cameras to optimally suit cinematographer´s daily needs.
Therefore, we launched a Survey earlier this year, asking all IMAGO members to fill out the Survey. 12% have already answered, to whom we are very grateful, but we need answers from a greater number of our members to be able to conclude how our work and collaboration with manufacturers best can proceed. Therefore, we today relaunch the survey, and I hope those of you who have not yet answered will take the time to answer.
By filling out this survey, IMAGO will have a most valuable platform from which we with manufacturers can discuss and find solutions on subjects of importance for us all.
I thank you for your kind help. Best regards,
Paul René Roestad
President IMAGO
