Having moved to QLD barely a year ago from NSW , it’s an honour to become President of the ACS QLD branch.
The last twelve months have been busy at ACS QLD, with many screenings, Q&As, new equipment evenings with our sponsors and both State and National Awards, including the sponsors Expo.
I look forward to maintaining and growing the engagement and diversity of our members, and working with a brilliant team on the new committee.

Our friends at AACTA are delighted to invite a limited number of ACS members to the Brisbane Opening Night of AACTA Film Fest.
Join writer/lead actor Damian Callinan at the exclusive screening of THE MERGER.
A comedy with heart, THE MERGER follows Troy Carrington (Damian Callinan), a former football star who is coaxed into coaching the local footy team after striking up an unlikely friendship with young Neil (Rafferty Grierson). Teaming up with Neil’s mum Angie (Kate Mulvany), who runs a nearby refugee support centre, Troy recruits refugees to revive the club with hilarious results, ultimately leading the community on a journey of change.
