As part of the ongoing series of Masterclass Intensives presented by ACS Victoria, we are offering limited places to this incredible class led by cinematographer, Barry Malseed. Barry has been shooting food TVC's for many years and is highly regarded and much sought after. He is considered one of Australia's leading experts in Food Cinematography.

It is a very specialised type of work that must be taught by the best if you are to achieve great results yourself. The ACS is extremely grateful to Barry for agreeing to take this one day (and probably once-only) Masterclass for us. This is an opportunity every cinematographer should take advantage of to learn the skills from an expert food cinematographer. It is a complex process which Barry will explain, demonstrate and demystify for participants. You may never get a chance like this again.

The Masterclass is limited to 12 participants. Small class sizes ensure students can closely study the methods and practises that Barry will demonstrate.
The class will take place in a professional studio with full professional crew and equipment.

Participants will be exposed to shooting studio set ups for food including lighting food to look delicious, food styling for presentation and tricks of the trade, camera moves and use of focus, slow motion cinematography, overhead dolly rigs, eating shots, etc, etc,.

When: Saturday November 11th, (Approx.) 08:00 - 17:00
Where: 195 Rouse St, Port Melbourne, VIC
Cost: $250 for ACS Members, $200 for ACS Student Members (Students who are NOT members of the ACS must pay the Non-Member price), $350 for Non-Members

ACS Disclaimer and Policy
The Australian Cinematographers Society (VIC) reserves the right to cancel any course for any reason at any time. If a course is cancelled, participants will receive a full refund of any fees paid.
Participants may withdraw from the course up to 28 days prior to commencement of the course and receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw between 28 days and 14 days of commencement of the course may do so for a forfeiture of 50% of the fee. No refund will be made to participants who withdraw within 14 days of the commencement of the course. In exceptional circumstances, ACS may exercise its option to refund on compassionate grounds.
Your place on this course is NOT TRANSFERABLE to anyone else without prior approval by ACS Victoria.
ACS Course components, modules, lecturers, crew, equipment and locations may be subject to change at any time. ACS will do its utmost to deliver the course as described but cannot guarantee that some aspects may need to change, be replaced or removed from the course.
ACS reserves the right to refuse entry to the course to any applicant at its discretion for any reason.
ACS Victoria Masterclasses and Workshops are conducted under the same codes and practices that apply to all Australian workplaces. We want this to be an educational and enjoyable experience for all involved. ACS Victoria will not tolerate discrimination, abuse, unacceptable behaviour or harassment. Participants must not be under the effect of drugs or alcohol at any time during the course hours. Standard No Smoking policies apply. After fair warning, ACS Victoria reserves the right to dismiss participants without refund if they fail to comply with these expectations. In regards to safety, consider the working environment and come dressed accordingly, keeping in mind changing weather and potential hazards. Well-fitting, secure, closed footwear must be worn at all times. If any situation seems unsafe, make the ACS coordinator aware immediately.
