| | Warwick Field ACS resumes the Presidency of the Victorian Branch
|
After a lengthy campaign to find a new President to take the lead at the ACS Victorian Branch, no candidate has been found. It seems the branch is currently in a position where no-one quite fits the role and/or is willing and able to act as President for the time being. Giving it considerable thought, Warwick decided to stand again for the position and was recently voted in by the committee. Warwick is very honoured and excited to be elected to this esteemed position once again. He says he plans this term back at the office to be a shorter one and the search for the next Victorian President continues in earnest. Meanwhile, Warwick is committed to progressing the branch and providing wonderful events and opportunities for ACS Members. All corporate ACS Members of the Victorian Branch are eligible and should consider if they may be experienced enough and capable to stand for the position at the next AGM in July 2018. Members are also invited to consider General Committee roles and anyone with special skills such as accounting, event management, IT, Social Media communications, desktop publishing etc., are encouraged to help us with managing the Victorian Branch's calendar of events.
