Membership Renewals Now Due

Dear ACS colleagues,

I'm sorry to be bombarding you at this time with more eNews. However, I need to inform you that Membership Fees are now due, and you can now renew your ACS membership via our ACS web site. Yes, that's right, the system is well and truly up and running and just waiting for your renewals.

Simply log on with your Username & Password. Please check your details are correct and update them if necessary.

On the right side of your page you will see your Membership Type, your Membership Status and a Renew Now blue link if you are unfinancial, which is most likely since we have not invoiced anyone for 2011/2012.

Click on Renew Now and you will be asked to put in your Username & Password again at the top of the page and select your Membership Type, then continue to enter your credit card details if that's how you wish to pay.

The automatic payment system on the website allows for credit card payments (Visa or Mastercard only). Should you wish to pay by cheque or money order, that should be sent to your local branch, who will deposit the funds and update your membership.

For EFT payments, contact your local branch for their bank account details and make sure to put your name in the Reference line so your local treasurer knows who the payment is from.

No matter how you wish to pay you need to click the "Renew Now" link to find the amount due.

When you make a payment using the new system, you will be prompted to print off your invoice after the transaction. Please note this is the only time you can do this. These invoices are electronically generated at the time of payment and we have no way of reissuing them. In addition to this, the payment gateway providers, e WAY, will email you a transaction record, which is not to be treated as an invoice.

Keep in mind that if you have joined since April 1 2011, or you are already in credit with your branch fees, your member record will show you as financial until June 30 2012.

What to do and who to contact if you have lost or forgotten your login or password?

Your login and password were sent to you in May this year. If you have lost your password, you can use the 'Recover password' function on the website.

In the extreme event that you have lost your login ID, please contact your local branch membership coordinator to have it resent to you.

Don't give up too soon, but if you are having difficulties with payments, contact your branch Treasurer or Secretary, or National Treasurer Mylene Ludgate:

If I can do it anyone can!

Until next time,
