2011 Kodak ACS Cinematography Student Masterclass - BRISBANE

Hi Everyone,
I'm pleased to be able to invite ACS members and Film & Television students majoring in Cinematography to submit applications to attend the 2011 Kodak ACS Cinematography Student Masterclass in Brisbane.

This is the third and final masterclass for 2011. It is to be held at the Metropolitan South TAFE in Mt Gravatt and promises to be an exceptional event with a line up of Australia's most senior and esteemed cinematographers.

The class is aimed at cinematography students from Australia's leading Film Schools and working camera department members who are looking to make the next step in their career path. Preferences will be given to ACS members and students who demonstrate a passion and solid understanding of the principles and practises of Cinematography. Each applicant will be sent a questionnaire and a photographic exercise to determine their level of understanding. After vetting of the work submitted, an ACS committee will offer only 30 people a place at the Masterclass.

WHAT STUDENTS NEED TO DO .....and WHAT WE WILL DO

1. Contact Leigh on 07 3440 5220 or 0418730432 or email: leigh.christensen@kodak.com to register your interest before Monday 15th August 20011 . You will receive by email, a questionnaire and photographic exercise.
2. Complete the questionnaire and photographic exercise before Monday 5th September 2011 and email it direct to Leigh at leigh.christensen@kodak.com Please include any supporting documents eg. from a mentor or a senior DP that could help your application,
3. All applicants will be notified of the status of their application..
4. Successful applicants will be sent a registration form with all supporting documentation. To secure a place in the class, the registration form and payment must be received before Monday 12th September 2011.

Remember there are only 30 places offered to those who qualify. The first 2011 Masterclass in Sydney filled up within a week .... so get in fast.
