A WIDER LENS: AUSTRALIAN CAMERA WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT AND DIVERSITY
A Wider Lens, the ground breaking report into the Australian camera department workforce was commissioned by the Australian Cinematographers Society in partnership with Deakin University.
The launch is on Thursday 28th July, 6 pm for 6.30 pm start, at AFTRS, Sydney.
A world-first, the report will reveal new and critical statistics about the lack of gender, racial and other diversity in the film industry, focusing on camera departments in particular. Key recommendations in the report will be pivotal to improving equity and mental health not only in camera departments but industry-wide.
