Message from the President

Greetings ACS colleagues and friends,

ACCREDITATION OPENS on JULY 1….

If you are considering applying for Accreditation maybe it's time to research what's involved,

the requirements and consider what material you would supply with your application as the next Accreditation assessments will take place at our National HQ in the second half of the year in 2017 and all submissions must be received by your local branch between July 1st and July 31st 2017 and submissions will not be accepted after July 31st 2017.

I cannot emphasise strongly enough that Active members must monitor their own membership status yearly, and upgrade to Full when ready to do so in order to be eligible to apply for Accreditation.

If you are ready to upgrade to Full Membership please contact your Branch Treasurer, or if you believe you should have upgraded to Full some time ago, again please contact your Branch Treasurer. There is no allowance for upgrading, you must serve the allocated membership time in your current category.

For more info on the requirements to apply for Accreditation click on the link... HERE

Miller Camera Support are one of our longest and most supportive National sponsors. The annual Bob Miller Technical and Innovation Achievement Award is now open for nominees.

Please put your thinking caps on and nominate a worthy candidate for this prestigious award.

Previous recipients have been Pawel Achtel for design and manufacture of his specialised underwater housings and Lester Bishop for his vast array of specialised grips equipment.

Until next time

Ron Johanson OAM ACS
National President
