Happy New Year everyone, somewhat belatedly I know, but it has been a rather emotional start to the year for many in our industry. I do hope everyone has a successful and fulfilling 2017, and that your careers grow and that you prosper, both creatively and financially. Of course, the National Awards for Cinematography will be hosted in May by the New South Wales Branch, and I know that the Committee is certainly planning some fantastic events to coincide with the Awards. I would ask that you all support the Awards and our nominees in the various categories by booking your tickets when they are released. A huge thank you to all our ACS National and Branch sponsors for your tireless support and your collaborative spirit, which we really appreciate. We welcome the opportunity to host any event you may wish to hold in order to increase the value of your sponsorship. The February National eNews will be a little late this year as I am travelling to London for the IMAGO Board meeting and the BSC Expo, so I will no doubt have lots to report upon my return.
