The warmest of Christmas greetings to our ACS members, Sponsors, Supporters, Families and friends
. I want to take this opportunity to thank you, and to wish you all a safe and joyful Christmas spending quality time reminiscing about the past year and what it has meant to us all. We are as a film industry community in a constant state of change, and the ACS endeavors to keep pace with said changes, but can only do what our energies enable us to do
we achieve a lot, but we also look to the future and hope that our member base will increase and with that, the Society will be in a positive position to continue the work we have started.
To all our ACS National and Branch sponsors, I cannot thank you enough for the tremendous support and your collaborative spirit, that enables us to advance the work of the Society. To those who work tirelessly on our various ACS Branch Committees, along with the ACS Board and the National Executive, my personal thanks for your commitment and for giving of your time so freely, without which we could never achieve what we have
.. May this Christmas give you pause to reflect on your families who also contribute by being there to support your aims and achievements while pursuing your love of cinematography. Having taken the leap and moved to Perth, Linda and I will be sharing Christmas with our families in our new home, which we are so looking forward to, so have a wonderful Christmas, and I wish you all a happy and prosperous 2017 Warmest regards Ron
The ACS also wishes to congratulate Jules OLoughlin on his recent accreditation with the American Society of Cinematographers, this is a fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved. Well done Jules OLoughlin ACS ASC

Photo Exhibition by Edward Goldner ~ "All I Had I Gave"
Victorian ACS member, cinematographer Edward Goldner visited Russia and several other countries last year and took a series of incredible B&W photographs. He now has an exhibition showcasing some of the images he captured. All I Had I Gave is a collection of portraits set against the crumbling backdrop of once mighty Cold War powers. Each image featured in the exhibition has been handprinted on silver gelatine paper. The series presents a duality in its exploration of vibrant characters enduring, and at times flourishing, within their exhausted landscapes. Exhibition Runs from 8th - 23rd December
