Angus Vance, is an emerging filmmaker best known for debut short film, Boomerang (2016) and award-winning sophomore short The Last River (2018) for which he recieved the LBS 'Best Emerging Filmmaker' gong. Growing up beneath southern skies of Western Victoria has undoubtedly shaped his creative expression, while his fascination with relationships between people and place is informed by his Indigenous heritage. His films are poetic, tender and visually rich. As a both a Writer/Director and Cinematographer, he works at the nexus of concept and craft.
