Biography
Gilberto Roque is a Cinematographer/Director with a background in documentaries, film, journalism and commercials.
He's the Cinematographer of SORELLA’S STORY, an immersive 360 film, having its World Premiere In Competition in the Venice Immersive section during the 79th Venice International Film Festival.
Gilberto has studied journalism and film in Brazil, drama at the National Conservatory of Drama in Dublin and graduated with a Masters of Advanced Screen Production at Griffith Film School in Australia, which has enabled him to work alongside young and established directors.
He is passionate about learning new cultures. Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, he has travelled to 25+ countries spread across four different continents and lived in Ireland, Portugal, and the USA since 2018 calls Australia home.
