Biography
Nathan Collett is a cinematographer + sometimes director from Australia & the United States. Having grown up all over the world, he is fascinated by the intersections of cinema, visual culture, and our shared humanity. Nathan shoots on any camera system available though has a preference for ARRI, Sony Venice or his own personal Red Helium Kit. He has a passion for vintage lenses and looks and continues to slowly grow his personal collection. He has worked as a cinematographer, director, and producer in the US and across Africa for clients such as the UN, Oxfam, Facebook, Great Big Story / CNN, Compass Light, Novartis and others. He received an M.F.A in Film and TV Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles (2006).
