Biography
working as a full-time professional photographer since 1990. In 1995 I completed a 3-year course at Canberra Institute of Technology, gaining an Associate Diploma of Arts in Photography, and was selected in the top ten graduating students Australia-wide.
In 2002, after 12 years at a studio in Cooma NSW (my home-town) and having shot over 300 weddings and thousands of portraits, I struck out on my own to create Brad Harris Photography, which has now evolved to become BH Photo. My work philosophy is to enjoy and give each job 100%. I'm aiming to earn a living, not build an empire.
Over many years I’ve shot just about everything: commercial, portraits, corporate, industrial, architecture, cars, performance, editorial... you name it, I've probably done it.
In recent years I have merged my writer's mind with my photographer's eye and transitioned to shooting video and absolutely love it. I have also integrated a lifetime of RC model flying into my work, operating DJI Mavic and Inspire drones.
Clients include Tourism Tasmania, Hydro Tasmania, Amazon Australia, Inland Fisheries (Tas), UTAS, SBS, Fremantle Media, The Iconic.
