Biography
Craig Hansen ACS is an Australian Cinematographers Society accredited cinematographer with over 20 years experience in television broadcast and production. Craig worked for Channel Ten, Channel 9 and the ABC in Sydney between 1998 and 2014 before joining Al Jazeera English's flagship documentary programme 101 East in 2015 as Senior Cameraman, a role based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which he held until August 2022.
Craig is currently freelance working for ABC Australia’s ‘Four Corners’ and ‘Foreign Correspondent’ programs.
Craig has worked in over 30 countries and has won numerous ACS awards (4 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze) as well as many international awards for his cinematography. His work earned him an Emmy nomination in 2017.
