Noel Smyth is an award winning documentary filmmaker and photographer with 14 years experience in the film industry, working for several years as an editor before turning his eyes towards directing and photography.
In 2019, he received the Doc Edge Film Festival Awards for ‘Best Director’ and ‘Best Emerging Filmmaker’ for his debut feature documentary ‘Camino Skies’ with the judges stating;
"The Directors ability to capture intimate, poignant moments with subtlety and restraint while carefully crafting a narrative was both engaging and genuinely moving."
Through his work he explores themes of redemption and transformation, capturing the trials and tribulations of everyday people, their relationships with each other, and their surroundings.
